Dear colleages: I believe that to improve our popular or community health, first we need to fight against medicals mafias in public hospitals.

Our public hospitals have different "private places" or "medical kiosks-
newstands" which are conducted by upper health service: from head to
intermediate staff. They use their fame and good reputation to get benefits from industrial corporations (pharamaceutical and technological manufacturers), to "apprehend" different pharmaceutical protocols (a lot of  money), and to use our poor and uncultivated people like experimental  animals. They are relationed to other important hospital heads: directors and administrative staff and with the powerfull medical union ( people who use the hospital to make politics).

Our hospitals have a structure as the Betham-Foucaulth panoptic: they watch
and punish all the incipient opposition. They use the indifference, fear and obedience of the medical majority who do nothing to change it.

But there is a "mad group" of doctors and nurses who begin a health politic
work to improve our hospital, fighting against their different mafias.
We need your intellectual and affective support to continue our health
argument and to not death in this purpose.

If you believe in historical health meetings, you are invited to the

South American Meeting Dissident Medicine

" Medicine is a community creation, not a medical merchandise"

We invite you to the Meeting of Dissident Medicine: DI.ME. ("tell me") and
MERD ( Network of alternative Medicine )
A lot of antihegemonycal Health Organizations (Against the Unidimensional
Thoughts)start building " DI. ME." Dissident Medicine and Network of Social
Medicine- Medicina en RED - MERD .

We're gathering together in April-May 2006 in IMPA: a worker self-
management factory (fábrica autogestionada). We're going to interchange thoughts and political Health experience between nurses and doctors from community hospitals (Garrahan-Children-adults B.A.) and the culture laborer: philosopher/artist/writers/journalist to improve our political fighting against all the mafias (inside/outside hospital) and the burocratical Union.

We're to go through our evidence/experience/knowledge integrating to a
new collective and popular complexity praxis using the culture as a health
tool.
We send you our agenda in Spanish.

Needing your intellectual and affective support!
